The Bengals may be adding another weapon to QB Joe Burrow’s arsenal after the top free-agent running back has Cincinnati in his top three destinations.
Former Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott has reportedly narrowed his options down to the Bengals, Eagles and Jets and wants to make his decision by the end of next week.

Elliott was at Ohio State when Burrow was in 2015 and a reunion could be intriguing. He also recently tweeted that he wants to wear No. 15 as he did in college and it just so happens that no current player on the Bengals wears the number.
Elliott, who is just 27, ranks as Pro Football Focus’ No. 24 remaining free agent and the top running back. The three-time Pro Bowler has led the NFL in rushing yards twice and is coming off a 968 yard and 12 touchdown season.
If Elliott chooses Cincinnati, it will need to be on a cheap deal as the team is preparing to pay Burrow and already has RB Joe Mixon.

The Bengals would instantly have one of the best running back duos in the league, unless they decide to part ways with Mixon as a result. Either way, it will be interesting to see what Elliott decides within the next week.
