The Cincinnati Bengals received several pieces of good news on Friday ahead of their matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
And it all revolves around injuries.
For starters, we learned that Joe Burrow’s elbow injury, which popped up on the injury report earlier this week, isn’t a big issue.
In fact, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said it’s not even on his radar.

A couple of other injuries appear to also be trending in the right direction.
Wide receiver Tee Higgins told reporters that he’s good for Sunday after playing only one snap against the Cleveland Browns due to an injured hamstring.

Wide receiver Tyler Boyd also expects to play against the Bucs this weekend.
Boyd dislocated his finger early in Cincinnati’s win against Cleveland. Initially, it was expected that Boyd would miss a week or two. But it looks like the tough wide receiver won’t miss any games due to the injury.
Bengals WRs Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins were full participants at practice today, per Zac Taylor. Said he’s feeling good about both playing.

On the Bucs’ side of things, they’ll be without a key defensive player in Vita Vea, who has been ruled out with a calf injury.
