Bills QB Josh Allen addresses skirmish at training camp

Scuffles are a fact of life during NFL training camp, even among teammates. Still, the one that took place in Buffalo Bills camp Saturday was fairly intense and notable.

Quarterback Josh Allen was working on two-point conversions with the offense Saturday, but was bumped by defensive tackle Jordan Phillips despite wearing the red no-contact jersey. Allen was clearly upset with this and shoved Phillips, starting a confrontation.

Josh Allen on Sunday addressed via Twitter his skirmish with a teammate that occurred during Buffalo Bills training camp on Saturday.

Allen was wearing a red no-contact jersey at practice. Despite wearing the red jersey, he was bumped by teammate Jordan Phillips during a two-point conversion drill. Allen pushed Phillips, and the two were separated. A day after the incident drew some attention, Allen addressed matters.

Allen is entering his fifth NFL season and looking to send the Bills to the playoffs for the fourth straight year.
