All week long, the Buffalo Bills have been dealing with injury concerns on defense.
On Saturday, DT Ed Oliver was ruled out while Tim Settle and CB Dane Jackson remain questionable heading into Monday Night Football.
However, Saturday’s news brought questions for the offense as well. Wide receiver Gabe Davis was a late addition to the injury report. The Bills’ WR2 was listed as a limited participant with an ankle injury. His game status for Monday is questionable.
The good news for the Bills is they clearly have a roster that’s ready in case Davis can’t go versus the Tennessee Titans.
The depth they have is the best in the NFL, especially at WR. I mean, Khalil Shakir was really a healthy scratch last weekend even though he had a huge special teams role.
The Titans do have a solid group in the secondary and obviously, Davis would be missed. But expectations for Buffalo’s offense should remain high. Late additions to injury reports are never fun in the NFL as there’s usually little information and few days to prepare for key absences. Hopefully, Davis gets to suit up.
Oddsmakers see the Bills as double-digit favorites versus the Titans but injuries at key positions could turn the primetime showdown into a closer affair than expected.
