Lawrence Taylor Makes A Startling Claim About Aaron Donald

Even the biggest New York Giants hater will admit that Lawrence Taylor is the greatest defensive player in National Football League history.

His defensive prowess, physicality, versatility, and ability to come up huge in the clutch made LT one of the biggest legends this beautiful game has ever seen.

So, if someone can talk about defensive players, stars, and some of the best to ever do it, that’s most definitely the G-Men legend. That was the case during his latest appearance in the “I Am Athlete,” podcast when he was asked to name the top five defenders of all time.

There, to the surprise of some, he didn’t include Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald in his top-five list of all-time greats.

Notably, it’s not like Taylor took a shot at Donald or claimed he’s not a star, as he said that there were five — himself included — that should rank even higher.

The legendary linebacker instead chose Ronnie Lott at five, Deion Sanders at four, Deacon Jones at three, Reggie White at the second spot, and himself as the greatest defenseman of all time. Of course, ranking just outside of that list is also a huge privilege, and there’s no doubt that Donald will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer once it’s all said and done.

But this list will raise plenty of controversy on social media, especially among the younger fans, that’s for sure.
