The Green Bay Packers‘ holding pattern might finally be over.
After weeks of speculation, it appears that we have a winner in the Aaron Rodgers sweepstakes.
And it’s not the Packers.
Former ESPN host Trey Wingo indicated on Monday afternoon that Rodgers to the New York Jets is a done deal.
Hearing Rodgers to the Jets is done. History about to repeat itself between New York and Green Bay. Time is indeed a flat circle

Obviously, things can change, but this is the way it had been trending for weeks.
If Wingo is correct, then Rodgers will exit Green Bay the same way as the Packers’ last Hall of Fame quarterback — via a stint on Broadway.
Now the big question is what will the Packers receive in return. And is the franchise truly committed to Jordan Love as its longterm quarterback?
Another question to consider is whether or not the Minnesota Vikings are gearing up to acquire Rodgers after next season.
After all, Rodgers has followed every other step of Brett Favre’s NFL career. Why not end it the same way?
By the way, other NFL reporters aren’t confirming this news just yet.
Wingo is well connected and doesn’t stick his neck out often, so it’ll be interesting to watch how this actually unfolds.
