Derek Carr of the Las Vegas Raiders just recently surpassed a new record in the NFL.
We all know how well of a passer Carr has been throughout his career, but now we can see tangible proof of just how good he has been.
People love to hate Carr because he hasn’t always made the best decisions. But, when it comes to getting yards, he is officially top-40 all-time.
Derek Carr just recently, during the Jaguars game to be exact, passed Phil Simms on the all-time passing yards list, making Carr the now 39th-ranked passing yards, leader.

Carr has played 134 games, 30 less than Simms did.
Phil Simms is on the desk for the halftime show of the CBS Sports show. The rest of the guys were talking about the game and how Carr passed him, and this is what he had to say:
“It’s a different game now,” while having a bit of attitude.
In my opinion, it sounded like Simms was a bit jealous.
Congrats to Derek Carr on climbing up the ranks.
