The Cincinnati Bengals have a tough matchup coming up this weekend against the Tennessee Titans.
Tennessee is no joke. The Titans might only have one more win than the Bengals, but they’re playing some high-level football these days — especially on the defensive side of the ball. There are no easy wins against Tennessee. They play hard for Mike Vrabel.
The Bengals will obviously have their work cut out for them this week. But the good news is that star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is expected to return this week (though he’ll likely be on a pitch count). Even a limited Chase should provide a boost to Cincy’s offense.
Tennessee is a tough team to beat, but so are the Bengals. It won’t just be Cincinnati that has their hands full this week — the Titans will as well.
And they’re aware of that.
Titans defensive back Kevin Byard spoke to reporters on Tuesday and you could sense the respect he has for Cincinnati’s offense.
Byard even made it a point to mention that he thinks Burrow is one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL.

“Joe Burrow, man he might not the guy that always is kinda mentioned with [Patrick] Mahomes and Josh Allen, but he’s definitely right up there as one of the best quarterbacks in the league,” said Byard.
The Titans will be looking to avenge their loss to the Bengals in the playoffs last season.
Tennessee was the No. 1 seed in the AFC last season, but Cincinnati knocked them out despite giving up nine sacks to the Titans.
It should be a fun one in Nashville. Both of these teams feel like they have a lot to prove and they’re each hungry for a win.
