Vanessa Bryant says her ‘girls are happy’ after family acquires new German Shepard named Loki … a month after their dog Crucio died

Vanessa Bryant on Wednesday took to Instagram to show off her family’s new pet, a black German Shepard named Loki.

‘My girls are happy,’ Vanessa, 39, captioned a family shot alongside daughters Natalia, 19, Bianka, five, and Capri, two.

‘Big Boy~ Loki #GermanShepard.’Vanessa, who is also mom to the late Gigi, 13, with late NBA icon Kobe Bryant, donned a camouflage hooded sweatshirt with her dark locks down and parted.

Loki was seen with a chain on in one shot, and in another shot was with the three girls in an outdoor setting.

Vanessa last month took to the site with the sad announcement to more than 15 million followers that their previous dog Crucio, a black Labrador Retriever, had passed away.

She shared a series of shots of the beloved family pet, writing, ‘We love you, Crucio. Thank you for everything sweet boy.’

Vanessa added, ‘Thank you for watching over us. We’re going to miss you,’ with the hashtags #GoodBoy and #RestEasy.

She received supportive responses from celebrity friends such as Ciara, Kris Jenner, La La Anthony, Lily Collins and Kyle Richards.

Jenner wrote, ‘So sorry Vanessa … we all love you,’ while Collins wrote, ‘We’re sending you so so much love.’ In January, the family celebrated Crucio’s 11th birthday, serenading him with Happy Birthday.

Kobe Bryant had past featured Crucio in a 2013 post on his Instagram page, sharing a clip of the dog swimming laps in the family pool.

The family continues to remain resilient after Kobe and Gigi died with seven others in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California on January 26, 2020.

Also killed in the crash were pilot Ara Zobayan, 50, Payton Chester, 13, Sarah Chester, 46, Alyssa Altobelli, 14, Keri Altobelli, 46, John Altobelli, 56, and Christina Mauser, 38.
