It feels like it was only yesterday that Natalia Bryant was celebrating her high school prom, but the 18-year-old has already successfully wrapped up her first semester at the University of Southern California. Back in March, Natalia’s mom, Vanessa Bryant, took to social media to share her daughter’s ecstatic reaction after getting accepted into her dream college. Now, it’s Natalia herself who’s sharing her dream semester with the world.
On December 12, Natalia posted her very first TikTok video, which was also shared on her Instagram, documenting some of the most memorable moments from her first semester as a freshman at USC. “Semester 1,” she captioned the video, tagging her college and adding a green check and party face emoji. The 17-second clip opens up with Natalia doing a suave hair flip to face the camera while sporting a Trojans varsity jacket. It then cuts to interpolate moments spent with her friends, both on and off campus.

Of course, after watching the video, Natalia’s comment section on Instagram is filled with love from family and friends. “I love this!!!!! It makes me so happy to see you enjoying your first year of college. I’m so proud of you. 1st semester complete. Keep Fighting On baby girl,” her mom Vanessa commented, adding a slew of heart and confetti emojis. “WE DID ITTTTT,” Storm Reid, also a freshman at USC, wrote.
Natalia has been at USC since mid-August, and she’s currently majoring in film. “For my mom, it was really important for me to go through high school and get my education. Especially complete college too,” Natalia shared in her Teen Vogue September cover story. Suffice to say, Natalia is doing Vanessa proud.
