We got another classic Joe Burrow story and it involves a future Hall of Famer

It seems like every week we’re getting another great quote from Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

In fact, it feels like Burrow’s media sessions are becoming can’t-miss moments.

The latest great Burrow quote came on Tuesday evening when the former LSU star met with reporters ahead of Cincinnati’s game with the New England Patriots.

Burrow was asked if he’s ever met Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.

The superstar quarterback revealed that he met Belichick in Miami a couple of months before the 2020 NFL Draft. Burrow wasn’t nervous.

And despite not being on an NFL roster at the time, he confidently went up to Belichick and introduced himself.

“We met at a steakhouse in Miami when I was coming out right before my draft in 2020, right before COVID hit,” said Burrow.

“I just went up and introduced myself,” added Burrow. “It was he and Coach (Matt) Patricia at the time and just went up and introduced myself.”

When asked why he wasn’t nervous about introducing himself to a legendary head coach, Burrow confidently said, “I figured he knew who I was”.

No one will ever accuse Burrow of lacking confidence. And that’s exactly what you want in a quarterback. Unlike guys like Derek Carr and Rusell Wilson, Burrow’s confidence is authentic.

It’s not manufactured or a “show” for the cameras. This is just who Burrow is and that’s why he’s already one of the best players in the NFL.
